Asda onboarding process
To with Asda, you’ll first need to become a registered supplier. If you haven’t done that already, you’ll need to fill out a form to submit your interest. Take a look at their supplier form here.
Once you have agreed on your relationship with Asda and confirmed the message types, they will send you the necessary documentation. This will include your Supplier ID and Global Location Number (GLN) keep this handy, you’ll need to provide this information to us.
Then we can get you set up with either of our EDI solutions, Netix One or Netix Flow. Both of these solutions will facilitate the sending and receiving of business documents via EDI.
Asda has made a move to having an online supplier gateway called the OneTime portal. When you have set yourself up on the OneTime portal, you’ll gain access to a series of tutorials and videos to help you through Asda’s Supplier Supported Onboarding (SSOB) process. Here you will also be able to download any relevant documentation to help make your set-up process as smooth as can be.
Once everything is set up and ready, the next stage is to test the connection. Asda only requires you to test certain message types including Purchase Orders, Invoices and ASNs (Advance Shipping Notices).
